2012 LITTLE BOY OF THE YEAR
Joseph Bacon, Age 6
Joseph Bacon is a 6 year old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 23rd, 2010. Joseph is currently undergoing chemotherapy which is scheduled to end April 2013. Joseph loves coloring, art, watching movies, Tae Kwon Do, T-Ball, going to the lake, reading and cooking with his parents, Jon and ANgie Bacon as well as his older sister, Katherine.
2012 GIRL OF THE YEAR
Mikala Hodgens, age 9
Mikala Hodgens is 9 years old and was diagnosed with Accute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on January 3rd, 2011. Mikala is in remission but she is still undergoing chemotherapy. Mikala is very active and loves playing soccer, doing arts and crafts and drawing. Mikala is in the 4th grade at Circle Greenwich Elementary school in Wichita. Mikala's parents are Doug and Micki Hodgens. Mikala has one brother, Braden Hodgens.
